What to Expect
Each month I'll send you a two to three-page letter through the mail. Each letter is prepared with care using heavyweight, archival-quality cotton paper. You will feel its substance before you even open the envelope. This is an object designed for permanence and contemplation, far from the glow of a screen.
Farm life letters, written on the farm, of the farm. The contents vary: reflections, observations, sometimes just experiences on the farm to be shared. Consider these letters the reflections of an old friend or distant cousin relating stories over tea or a cup of coffee.
Each letter is its own story, written the same month it's sent to you. No letter relies on previous letters and there is no sequence beyond the seasons. The letter you receive is yours and yours alone. We'll never post it, we'll never reuse it.
There will be no sales pitch, no 'bonus content', no religion, and no politics. There’s already enough of that. Just one substantial letter from me to you that, I hope, you’ll want to read, enjoy, keep, and reread.
Letters are one-sided by design. You don’t reply, though some readers tell me they do — privately, in their journals.
Subscription Options
The Annual – 12 Months
For the long view. One letter from Charles every month for 12 months.
The Seasonal – 3 Months
For the curious. One letter from Charles every month for three months.
Subscriptions can be started or gifted at any time. The first letter usually arrives within two weeks of purchase.
Tax is additional where required to collect.
Letters will only be sent US First Class mail. No overseas deliveries at this time.
Your letter should arrive between the 1st and 5th of the each month. If not received by the 10th, use the contact form or send me an email.
If the letters aren't what you expected, do contact me. We'll work something out.
Participation is limited to ensure quality. The Wait-List below will advise the next opportunity to start receiving letters.
